The nursery is committed to provide a warm welcome in order to support each child in the absence of their parents. It is an extension of the family environment -on the educational level, but also moral, emotional and social level.
Each child is considered as a person in their individuality -with their specificities. Our institution is committed to respect the pace of each child through care and individualized socio-educational activities.
Every morning, the nursery offers the establishment of a school system -via its kindergarten. Children from 2 ½ to 4 years-old are welcomed to perform rituals every morning from 9.30 am, as well as an activity based on their interests, their individual skills and the fields of the new reform.
Plurilingualism is at the heart of the project of the nursery. Thus, activities are carried out on a daily basis in Luxembourgish as well as musical listenings introduced in the children’s mother tongues.

The main mission of our nursery is to ensure the well-being of children but also to ensure their safety, development and fulfillment.
The principles of our nursery are to promote children’s autonomy and their participation, to develop their personality by letting them make choices and by giving them responsibilities. The nursery also offers activities and situations in which children learn to grow as individual and future adults, and to develop themselves and gain self-confidence.
Our nursery is a family structure and welcomes 15 children from 2 months to 4 years-old.

The activities allow the development of individual skills set beforehand.
Through these workshops, toddlers develop new skills and garner new knowledge. For example, they learn to recognize their names, to differentiate and name the colors, to quote the sequence of numbers, to become aware of their body and movement and to express their emotions.
Play is a fundamental action in the well-being and development of the child.
Through play the child apprehends the world and finds its place, but the game also allows the child to explore, to interact with his peers, to discover, to experiment, to imagine, to create …
Our nursery has a wide variety of games, which are adapted to the age and skills of each child. Playpens are available for children to make choices and play games from their own interests.
Artistic activities are offered to children, through these creative workshops children develop their creativity, expression and personality.
Musical activities are carried out with children, listening songs, rhymes or games with instruments are operated.
Dynamic games including games naming different parts of the body on a rhythmic music or courses are also set up during motor sessions. Through these psychomotor activities, children acquire various postures and movements and become aware of their bodies.
The nursery Les Petits Filous opens from Monday to Friday from 6 : 00 to 19:00.
